Held over two days, 49 swimmers representing Black Sands Swim Squad took part in the CGM sprint challenge held at Shrewsbury Aquatic Center. The competition featured age groups from 6 and under through to 18 and over. The meet took in all of the swimming disciplines and proved highly competitive across the age group spectrum.
Black Sands Swim Squad had another successful meet by being named overall club champions with numerous swimmers achieving personal best results. Debuting in their first competitive swimming event were swimmers Kiana Bailey, Isabella Bolls, Benjamin Cyrus, Aidan DeFreitas, Joseph Hadley, Liam Hadley, Noah Hadley, Scarlett Hadley, Aaron Laidlow, Anya Octave, Chayse Roberts and Nexeda Sergant. All rose to the competitive challenge excelling at the meet with some achieving podium finishes.
