“Hard work pays off for Swim Team SVG”
The hard work put in by the swimmers and coaches and the support of parents over the past twelve months have paid off. Swim Team SVG returned from Antigua yesterday following the completion of the 2012 OECS Swimming Championships. The swimmers are highly motivated after turning mostly their personal best times compared to last year’s OECS and prior meets attended during 2012.

- Alexander Joachim, (Boys 8 and under) – 1 gold, 2 silvers and 2 bronze
- Shne Joachim, (Girls 11-12) – 2 silvers and 1 bronze
- Female 15 & & over relay team (Louis Mitchell, Loren Gun Munro, Neisha Alexander and Kim Halbich) – 2 Bronze
- Loren Gun Munro (Female 18 & over) – 1 bronze
- Kyle Dougan (Male 18 & over) 1 bronze
- Total SVG Medal count – 1 GOLD; 4 SILVER; 7 BRONZE (12 medals)
