Barbados recently held their National Swimming Championships competition where Kyle Dougan, proudly representing St Vincent & the Grenadines, won four gold medals and received a trophy for the highest scoring international swimmer in his age group.
Dougan is a seasoned swimmer who formerly competed at an international level whilst living in the UK. He is now living in St Vincent and is a floor member of the current SVGASA Executive Council. Dougan feels very strongly about promoting the sport of swimming in SVG and is currently coaching and teaching the sport and he believes that St Vincent has the potential of producing the Usain Bolt of the swimming world.
