Dear Swim Friends and Family,
Please find attached the results of the RHAC Swimming Championships held in St Lucia April 13 to 16, 2023. Special congratulations to the following SVG swimmers representing Blue Marlins swim club and Black Sands Swim Squad:
- Tayeah St Hilaire – swimming for Blue Marlins Swim Club and in the girls age 11 to 12 category. Tayeah continued he winning wins having just won three medals at Carifta by winning 5 golds, 5 silvers and 2 bronze medals. She also broke the RHAC 100 meter and 50 meter butterfly records and the SVG record in the 50 meter Butterfly for her age group. Tayeah also won the sprint challenge trophy.
- Caghry Williams – swimming for Blue Marlins Swim Club and in the boys age 9 to 10 category. Caghry set new RHAC records in 200 meter Breaststroke and in the 50 Meter Freestyle sprint challenge. He won 7 gold medals, 3 silvers and 1 bronze medal. Caghry won the sprint challenge in his age group. Caghry also tied for first place in the overall boys age 9 to10 championship.
- Hazen Dabriel – swimming for Blue Marlins Swim Club and in the boys 13 to 14 age category. Hazen won 1 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals.
- Belle Adams – swimming for Blue Marlins Swim Club and in the girls age 9 to 10 category. Belle won 4 silvers and 6 bronze medals.
- Saj Caesar – swimming for Blue Marlins in the boys age 8 & Under category won 1 gold medal.
- Seth Byron – swimming for Black Sands Swim squad and in the boys 13 to 14 age category. Seth broke the RHAC record in 50 meter Freestyle sprint challenge and was the winner. Seth won the overall age group championship for his age category.
- Kione Deshong – swimming for Black Sands Swim Squad and in the boys age 9 to 10 category won 2 silver medals.
