The SVG Swimming Federation is proud to announce that Alex Joachim and Kennice Greene will be participating at the Olympic Games Paris 2024 held in Paris, France from July 26th to August 11th 2024. In total, Team SVG has four outstanding individuals to represent St. Vincent and the Grenadines on the Olympic stage, and they are:
- Alexander Joachim – Swimming – Men’s 50M Freestyle
- Kennice Greene – Swimming – Women’s 50M Freestyle
- Handal A Roban – Track – Men’s 800M
- Shafiqua Maloney – Track – Women’s 800M
Five days ago, Mr. Joachim and Ms. Maloney were selected as flagbearers for Team SVG at the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony. In the following video, you can see them and the rest of Team SVG proudly waving our nation flag as their boat goes down the La Seine River.
